The balance between training and recovery is essential to improve and maintain performance. Different recovery strategies are already being used in practice, but the scientific reason for these strategies is often lacking. This presentation will provide us with an overview of recovery strategies with a clear distinction between long-term (sleep, hydration, nutrition) and short-term strategies (compression, massage, ...).
